Clean Cooking in Pemba

The project was developed in Pemba, the largest city in the province of Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.
The country is one of the poorest in the world due to the recent Jihadist insurgency that has caused thousands of people to flee, further increasing poverty.

The project aims to reduce poverty by introducing around 10,000 environmentally friendly stoves, thus providing various benefits for families and local communities as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change.
